"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much"   - Helen Keller

Are you feeling full of gratitude for the amazing school your children attend? Do you wish there was a way you could show that love? Welcome to volunteering at Love of Learning!

Many hands make light work of the events at the school throughout the year. Do you have a special skill you would like to share? Is there a role at the school you have interest in learning more about?  Want to meet LOL families, make new friends or meet the parents of your children's friends?  Have some spare time you would like to share? Volunteering at Love of Learning is a great way to meet other LOL families, learn more about the LOL community and teach your children the benefits of helping out.

Event Volunteering

Monday Family Lunch (weekly)

This is the most popular way of supporting our school. We need a family to help every Monday. In conjunction with Mrs. Thaler, you plan, shop for, prepare and serve lunch to our school. We will guide and assist you every step of the way. This is always a very exciting day for the child or children whose parent is here! Sign up here:

Wednesday School Lunch Volunteers (weekly)

If you are looking to familiarize yourself with how school lunch works, but you don’t feel quite sure about making a meal, helping out on a Wednesday would be a great start. Parents can help deliver the food from the kitchen (Retreat Center) down to the classrooms and then help to serve it to the kids. Time commitment is 11:00am - 1:15pm.  This is a low commitment volunteer activity with high reward. Please call the office if you can help out.

Bulb Order Distibution

Love of Learning’s annual Bulb Sale is the first fundraiser of the school year. This fundraiser is friendly to our planet and provides an opportunity for your children to help beautify their environment. Love of Learning partners with Dutch Mill Bulbs to provide families with quality spring bulbs that are guaranteed to bloom. Volunteers are needed to organize and distribute orders once we receive the bulbs.
