Snack Report Assignments
General Snack Report Instructions
For the day assigned, please have your child bring in a nutritious snack for the class. Remember, it’s a snack, not a meal. Fruit, veggies or crackers should be sufficient. NO HIGH SUGAR ITEMS PLEASE! We’d like to stress more fruits and veggies than crackers and pretzels.
On the day they bring in snack they will also be responsible for having a report, as specified, to be shared with the class. They should practice their report out loud ahead of time. The goal is for them to be able to speak loudly and clearly in front of a group (for some it takes time to be able to do this).
Please write about a time this summer when you did a good deed, all on your own initiative – without thought of a reward or pocket money or treat. It could have been a good deed for family, friends, animals or plants.
Instead of writing about what you did, if you prefer, you could make an art project (picture, sculpture, wall hanging, model) showing your good deed. Then you could talk about your good deed while presenting your creation.
