Science Fair

  • Harborside Campus (map)

The Science Fair is a fun, learning activity for all who participate. The elementary kids will have engaging science activities for everyone to participate in.

In addition to the experiments the elementary kids will be having for the younger ones, there will be some activities we’ve had in the past which the kids really enjoy:

  • Using liquid nitrogen your child will have the opportunity to instantly freeze some delicious ice cream
  • With simple tools, the kids will be able to hammer nails to their heart’s content or lift objects several times their own weight with ease
  • There will also be a steady flow of water to be channeled into a river for those who don’t mind getting a bit muddy
  • We will be having eggs dropped from off the roof of the Retreat Center. Once hitting the parking lot we will be able to see which of the Fun and Cooperation teams were able to devise packaging allowing their egg to survive impact

There will be an opportunity to take a break from the excitement by buying some lemonade and healthy snacks.

Pre-schoolers are welcome and encouraged to come, provided they are accompanied by an adult. Kindergarten and Elementary parents are also welcome.
