Our Mission

The Love of Learning Summer Camp is a unique camp experience that will foster friendship, learning and fun. Child-centered activities and games are designed to promote mindful living, positive character development, and self motivation. Our trained camp staff demonstrate respectful behavior. Time is allocated for children to initiate their own projects and games. Problem-solving is emphasized as the children interact, building a community where self confidence, curiosity and creativity can thrive.

The Program

Our Summer Camp program is age-blended (3-6) (6-10) (10-13) and our day begins together. Post morning activity the children are split into groups based on age and gross motor skills. Campers are provided with a variety of activities scheduled weekly (Yoga, Science, Art, Sensory Room, Music, Nature Exploration, Reading or Story Time, Water Play, Sports and Group Games). Additionally up to three times per week campers are given “Choice” classes to sign up for (Creative Writing, Cooking, Drama, Construction, Self Defense, Sewing, Knitting and Creative Crafts).

Counselors in Training

Your pre-teen is finding their value in our ever changing world. Let us guide them! The Love of Learning Summer Camp is here to provide the with the practical work and experience they need to lead our youth. CITS are responsible for preparing snack daily, cooking hot lunch once a week, and facilitating the cleanliness of our campus. They are expected to model respectful behavior as they interact with the youth campers. Working as aides to the Camp Counselors in the (ages) 3-6 groups they have the opportunity to organize and play group games, and engage in lessons.
